A good friend of mine Andrew posted a link about project managers recently. You can read it here. I found it quite encouraging (considering its what I do…) that there is a big need for more PM’s. I’ll be honest, I am still quite young and inexperienced when it comes to project management. However I did have the luck to be in the right place at the right time to land the position I am in now.
Excend is a great company and one of the best things that I love about the job is that I get to really get my feet wet. I mean I was the third or fourth person hired in the firm! I have had alot of say in the way business is run there. It is constantly evolving to become more efficient. At the same moment, its daunting to think that I have had such power. I am most certain there are better qualified persons for the job, but I’ve been blessed beyond measure to have this opportunity. I only hope I can keep up with the trend!
I think as long as the boss is happy I will be safe!
